Caffe Vesuvio's Pizzeria

First time checking this place out. Tried the pizza with prosciutto & arugula. Server was only on her second day, but did just fine. The pizza came out and looked a bit unwieldy. Lots of arugula and tomatoes everywhere, but not a lot of prosciutto. You wouldn't think is compatible about too many toppings, but it made it really difficult to honestly review the pizza itself. I can tell you this though, the dough is pretty on-point. It has a nice crisp outside with a soft pillowy inside. I want to come back again to try a more simple pizza and maybe one of their sandwiches.

This place is awesome! My wife and I come to New Smyrna every year in December, and we were really in the mood for pizza. We just happened across this place, and man, are we glad we did! Jenna (our server) was awesome, she's friendly, quick, very helpful and her enthusiasm is contagious. Then the food came, and wow, was it delicious. Things are homemade, tasty, made from the heart, and we enjoyed every single bite. Oh, and don't forget the homemade cannoli........incredible! From start to finish, absolutely one of the best dining experiences we have had. We will be back!
